Suggestion for Swiggy aSDE Interview

Hi I'm a 2024 graduate and I'm having my interview for aSDE - Android role at Swiggy next week. First round is the Machine Coding round. Is there anything anyone would like to suggest me, anything particular to follow during the interview or something? Your suggestion will be super useful Thank you!

What type of task is given at the machine coding round, what type of DSA question do they ask or android related things

Had my 2nd round (PS-DS + Android Fundamentals) with Swiggy for the aSDE role. The interviewer gave a string-based question. After some discussion, I came up with a better, though not optimal, solution. He then asked me to code it in Kotlin. I’ve never practiced DSA in Kotlin, so I asked if I could use Java instead. He said no, wanting to check my proficiency in Kotlin. In the first round, the Machine Coding round, didn't they check my proficiency in building apps using Kotlin? Despite doing well in my Android Fundamentals part and my first-round Machine Coding round, I received a rejection email today. Not sure what these startups expect from freshers.

Just curious how they will conduct machine coding round for companies like swiggy. Can we use kotlin and develop simple android app based on that statement. Any tips suggestions and most asked questions?

I (23 grad) working with a service based company, around 5 months exp, got an offer from Swiggy for a contract role. Is it worth joining Swiggy right now amidst all the recession and layoffs chaos?
