Swiggy strike in Mumbai but app still let's you place orders?
Placed an order almost an hour and a half ago, delivery guy told me he can't deliver because they're beating up anybody who even tries to deliver
So r u saying everytime there is a protest, like even among uber/ola drivers for some areas - the app should stop functioning for those areas?
Why will a company support this?
But how does it work for them to accept an order and have a customer waiting if their delivery partners aren't gonna be delivering? 🤔
Uber / Ola is different since the driver is providing the service and chooses whether he/she wants to accept your ride. For swiggy, the restaurant is always going to accept my request if Swiggy sends it to them, but if the rider isn't going to deliver, there isn't much point no?

There are third party delivery providers like shadowfax and others which swiggy can use.
