Every month my salary gets credited I barely spend 20% of it the rest of it is just sitting around in my bank account it's already above 5L. I keep thinking of investing it in stocks/mf but it's a lot of work 😔

Other than good food on table I'm not sure what i should do with the money. I save everything left after removing house expenses Which is 75% of my income. So I am going to come in a tax slab from next month, probably will make 80k+ per month. In this case where I should invest for my future safety. As I am only male child of my parents, so it's my responsibility to earn and save so that I could bring happiness in their life.

Me and my wife are 30 years old software engineer with no kids. Draw 7 lac a month please some yearly bonus. We invest 2 lac a month combined into equity market through mutual funds. 

Expenses: 1.5 lac a month including everything, lives in Bangalore in good society, owns a car, don't thing much before spending. 

Still after everything left with 3 lakhs every month in bank account. Not sure how to use that. We both don't have any fancy "shauk" where we can spend and hence don't have an urge to earn more.

Hi folks, I have recently started investing after repeatedly being told to not hoard my money in savings, wanted to know how/how much other people invest. 
Current portfolio:
Equity: 2.5 L ( banking, fmcg, ETFs)
Mutual Funds: 1.1 L ( Navi Index fund - 10 k per month sip, SBI Liquid Fund - 10k per month)

I feel that I should invest more since i dont have any financial dependents on me right now, but dont know how much and dont want to  put my hard earned money somewhere I won’t see it ever.

Need Investment Advice

I've completed 1 year in my first job. I've tried saving and investing some money, help me decide what I can do better:

Income: 22LPA

PPF: 3 Lakh
EPF: 2 Lakh
MF: 5 Lakh
Saving Account: 4.5 Lakh

Income for new FY post increment: 29LPA

I did these savings based on some advice from my elder brother.

I'd like to spend more this year though, with some travel and going out more, maybe even purchase a scooty/bike and a PS5 😁 - would these expenses be justified?

Apart from improving my savings & investments and 
still being able to afford a few luxuries, I want to know if I should get any of these:

- Health Insurance - Only 5 Lakh cover from company for me and my parents (note - parents are getting old)
- Life Insurance - Do we really need it, I'm still 24?

I wanted to know which Bank will be the best to open a savings account as a college student because in that account I'll be depositing my stipends only so maybe the ones with good interest rates will be better.

Bank Account Suggestion

Recently started earning and honestly living a comfortable life with a much lower salary than most people talk about. Doing the math, I don't see myself needing more than 18L-24L in hand to save and continue living comfortable (but I am someone who always likes to do more and get paid more).
If you're <30 and earning this much money, why do you push for higher salary (eg from 30LPA to 40 LPA) - is 30 not enough?

So, I have started investing in MFs. Started from very low amt of 7k pm which is divided into 3 parts: Large Cap: 2.5k, Medium Cap: 2.5k and Small Cap: 2k. 

MF Invested: Icici bluechip direct growth, HDFC mid cap direct growth and Quant small cap direct growth

My financials: 
Fixed: 8L

Now my question is, in coming 6 months by what amount or % should I increase my monthly SIP.
