Hi all, 3 yoe Currently very comfortable in a role but not much learning. Very good manager, not much pressure, know in and out of current task but its stagnant now Not much growth Living a comfortable life TC 15 Now have a new offer will have to relocate to mumbai, and then the whole hustle begins I am having second thoughts on choosing new offer, can people with experience lay down their thoughts

I’m starting my first job this month, CTC-14L I’m not sure but assuming I’ll get 80-90K in hand Considering the job is in mumbai, the rent and other expenses would be high considering it to be 40-50K (pls tell how much it should be at max) Also how much taxes will I be paying and how to save it max I really need your help, how do I start investing? Can I put all in Small cap MF, what would you advice? What should be the split between Stocks and MF, and in MF how much in which categories? Also it would be great if you can recommend the best 2-3 MF in your portfolio in each categories, and 5-10 stocks for Stock SIP for long term Thank you so much 😭

Is it worth moving to Mumbai Goregaon with a fixed salary of 18 LPA from Bangalore? I was living on a paycheck-to-paycheck basis in Bangalore. (In-hand salary: 115k) I am a 25-year-old single man. Actually I want to know about change in living costs after shifting to Mumbai.

Hey folks, I'm a recent graduate, got a job at a startup and the base will be <15, >10. Shifted to Bangalore (more like returning after 6 years, lived for 4 years before that). Since I'll be starting my full time journey soon, I want to know how you guys split your take home salary into needs, wants, luxury, savings, investing etc. Currently, I'm in a rented flat in HSR (my split is 7k) and will rent out/buy some home appliances. Food would be around 10k a month (no maid, all outside). I just want to know your experiences on spending and handling money. Not that I'm bad at it, but this is the start of my journey and I would like to know how other people manage their money, so I'd know if I have to tweak some things. Do tell any strict DOs/DONTs, common mistakes.

In a bit of a dilemma. I joined a well-known / well -funded startup in a mid level role 3 days back. A Dubai based startup that I had previously interviewed with a few months back, got back to me with a 30k AED / month offer yesterday. Questions - 1. Is 30K AED a good salary for Dubai, considering what I make in India? 2. Would it reflect badly if I leave the current company in the first week, considering I made them wait for 2 months of my joining (I don't see my role as super critical for them). From a job role POV, the dubai role feels more fulfilling. The India role offers a better employer brand. What are your thoughts on what I should do?

Every month my salary gets credited I barely spend 20% of it the rest of it is just sitting around in my bank account it's already above 5L. I keep thinking of investing it in stocks/mf but it's a lot of work 😔 What do you guys do with your salary, it would be great if you can share your investment strategy and how do you keep yourself motivated to stick to it

Working in EY and getting 45L as senior manager. Have a Dubai EY offer with 35k AED per month with manager designation. Need guidance on what to do ? In India, I have a stable job, got promoted, and have family support. Dubai - Tax free salary, Demotion, travel to Saudi frequently as projects are Saudi based. Closer to India etc Need advice. Will move with wife and daughter.
