You’ll have to start with APM role. Write to hiring manager, a cold mail works. Only problem is there are too many folks using this playbook.
Make a list of all your alumni working in product companies that you want to join. Start emailing and reach out to them for a referral.
Help your placement teams reach out to more companies - give them a list of companies that they don’t really focus on, and hand them an alumni’s contact from those firms.
Do not wait hoping you’ll get a firm visiting you. Take action.
