Tired from LinkedIn job posters

We have observed that many people on LinkedIn post job listings and ask others to comment 'interested' simply to boost the visibility and increase views on their posts, all in an effort to gain more popularity and followers. However, some individuals genuinely seeking employment refrain from commenting 'interested' because they wish to keep their job search confidential, not wanting their colleagues or managers to become aware of their intentions.

To address this issue, we propose launching a movement. In this movement, we would comment on their job posts using the same link they provide through direct messages (DMs). This approach aims to promote a more respectful and discreet job-seeking environment on LinkedIn."

Job posts on LinkedIn

You post about a job role on Linkedin. You get a DM from a person who is looking for the role in that company. You see the message but don’t reply.

Why?
