As we slowly started using chatgpt in our day to day life. Has anyone of you used chatGpt for any innovative way other than coding ?  I am using chatgpt where i post the Job description and attach my resume ask chat gpt to evaluate if my resume is good enough to get selected it or not and you won’t results are way crazy its amazingly very useful.

Most of the media is trying to lick gpt but i am trying to use it daily and it kind of just wastes my time in debugging . I found some good uses like dto writting and json to http writer . But thats all . I cant trust its info bcoz gpt halucinates a lot and i cant trust bing bcoz end of the day the just take some words from web page and concat it and display. I hv started feeling it like a bubble just like blockchain . If u guys are actually finding some good usages can you please mention thnks for reading !

To all the devs (working professionals and students), how much do you rely on ChatGPT for your code? Do you explicitly use it to generate code logic, or only use it for debugging? 

Plus, do you think that the newer generation of students might miss out on the essence of programming with the advent of ChatGPT?

Reliance on ChatGPT

I have around 8 years of active development work experience across multiple stacks, both front end and backend. From past 6 months I have been using GPT as assistant and must say it’s getting dangerously perfect . 
We are now able to do projects at almost half the cost. There has literally been no hiring done for 6 months without affecting productivity a bit. 

I wonder how many days before it takes over half the jobs in tech including mine.

Folks who are hiring for jobs that require ideating or writing, have you noticed the extensive use of ChatGPT in application responses? 

Once we recieve job applications, we send out 4 simple questions to shortlisted candidates. 

What surprised us is the over use of ChatGPT in most assignments. And not just for minor tweaking or to add a finishing touch—some answers are clearly generated directly by ChatGPT (one even included this phrase ""As an AI language model, I suggest...""). And this was for an experienced role. 

How are other recruiters addressing this challenge? And how are applicants making use of ChatGPT in their responses?

Why do educated graduates are paid the same as a sweeper of railway ? Why do service based company do this , do they think freshers are as worthy as a sweeper ? This is a genuine question, most of the service based companies earn in billions why they choose to pay shit to a hard working student who just got a job ? This is so unfair. I feel they are just taking advantage of them.

A sweeper gets paid 25k/month at railway. Why service based company pay the same to a fresher ?

With the encouraging developments, I wanted to crowdsource the best use cases so that I can utilize it even better

For me: 
1) Personal: Using it for movies. My prompt is typically: What genre film I want, what are films in that genre I like, they should be produced after year 2005, and they should have a rotten tomatoes audience score above 85%. It works beautifully well. Some of the best movies I'd never discovered.

2) Work: Building draft replies and being able to save them to Text Blaze. Stuff like "Not interested" or "Set up meeting" (which automatically includes my Calendly link etc.). Makes going past inbox very smooth.
