Hey , I’m a software engineer and it’s been 1.11 months till now, I use to get train on different technology and went on bench for a year and finally got a project on angular. I tried hard to do work and learn but it’s for only 3 months and project ended. I want to work and switch, wanted to gain knowledge so that I don’t get issues while working in project related to angular as a front end developer. How can I improve and achieve that in a short time. I’m confused how to get a grip on it and skill myself so that I don’t get fail in task while working in a project. Please help me out and guide me how to do it. I feel depressed sometimes thinking that I don’t know nothing even though I have learned angular and have knowledge of js. How to gain confidence and get better in UI designing. Please help me out and guide me.

Status: 1.7 yoe | Passout from Tier 3 Position: SDE1 at a product based company (Java Backend) CTC: 5.2 lpa I resigned from there in April because of personal health reasons plus the work environment and the pay did not suit me well. I was confident to find a better pay as compared to how/the amount of work I got done there in comparison to my peers but unfortunately I feel lost now. From last two months I am focussing on my DSA concepts, and now feel a bit confident to start interviewing again. One of my concern is will this type of career break impact seriously or is that acceptable to companies. Secondly, sometimes I also get confused on should I focus on the core subjects again thoroghly or just grind leetcode properly first and then maybe a week or so on OS, DBMS, OOPS, Java, Spring Boot (based on my last project at work). Kindly give some assistance on time partitioning since I am getting overwhelmed in order to get myself "fully prepared". Also pls help me with referrals, if any.

How was your struggle while learning and applying for a job or internal posting? How did you overcome the fact that your previous experience is not aligned to the current tool / domain? How did you crack the interview when you didn't have the hands on experience on that tool? Only Thing you had was learning and a certification to get started in that tool / domain??

Background, Tc stuff- Decade+ yoe Started with <10Lpa. Crossed >10Lpm. Life is fun and no amount of money is enough. I’ve seen it firsthand that the investments and luxuries grow at far bigger rate than your comp, Can’t complain though.
