Wakefit to get more funding from Elevation
What are your thoughts on Wakefit? I use their mattress and so far so good
Smartest takes on tech companies

I have 2 wakefit mattress and have been using it for more than 3 years. It lives upto its expectations. Old mattress would bend in the middle after few years. But I've never seen a single bend on my 2 mattresses. So I'd say its a good product with potential for future
However, their pillows and bedsheets suck and really expensive. Hope they invest some R&D into manufacturing better materials.

This is expected.
1. Wakefit had managed to successfully diversify from a low AoV and a low TAM Mattress market to a higher AoV and TAM Home Improvement market (Furnishings, Furniture, Interiors).
2. Furniture is a high GM domain and profitability is always around the corner provided distribution is sorted. Wakefit is indeed sorting it out.
3. Interiors will be much more difficult to make profit in, considering there are already market leaders and strong incumbents.
Overall, I see Wakefit growing well in loose furniture than mattress or furnishings.
Interesting
Their products have always been good
The furniture (I bought a bed) also seems good for the price.
Interesting to see how it pans out
I got wakefit wardrobe it's strictly okay for the price asked, traditional offline brands are more vfm I feel.
Narayana Murthy and Bhavish Aggarwal have announced a hostile takeover of Wakefit. They have issued a joint press release today. They said “Wakefit is fit for woke techies who want to sleep. Sleep is for the weak. Sleep is for the woke. This goes against our dreams of putting Bharat back to work on the back of meagerly paid tech slaves while we will continue to cash out on the ownership stakes we have in our companies”
