What are the must skills you need before going to study abroad?
Hi, I’m working as Backend developer on spring boot java, I’m planning to leave to study abroad for higher studies, I need guidance over what are the must skills I need to have before going there to have a better chance of getting job there? PS: I cannot risk to go there and then see, I must make sure everything works bcoz I’m going to take loan and I dont have any such backups :(
What field do you want to get a degree and job in?
This will entirely depend on that.
E.g. you want to switch to be a ML/AI (malai) engineer, get a specialization in AI fields with your degree.
General CS degree works as well, you’ll need to work hard to stand out in your desired field, as first preference goes to specialized fields. Source: friends who got general be specialized degrees.
Note that general CS degree is best for general SDE roles (obviously) at large orgs (MANGAMULA and the like) — interview bar is relatively easier than compared to here — think if you can clear Oracle here, you’ll be able to clear amazon in Murica.
