Java Developer with No coding skills

Can you please suggest some projects ideas which can help me get a dev job at a startup. Currently the work I get at my current job doesn't involve coding (its mostly setup and bug fix involving very minimal coding). I think I need to showcase my coding skills with some projects, but can't think of what to make. I have been advised that common apps like e-commerce, blog etc. are ignored. (correct me if that's incorrect). So, looking for some ideas with some details for projects.

I'm a 2nd year student. Teaching myself native iOS app development + algorithmic problem solving + core CS subjects. Now I have exactly 6 months left before the summer internship cycle starts. Turns out there aren't many iOS focused internships out there and I would very much like to future proof my intern prospects. What do you ,experienced folks, suggest I learn so that I can not only make decent projects but also contribute and learn while interning. Right now I'm inclined towards learning Backend development in Java+Spring Boot. If you have any other suggestions, kindly send them my way. Also to the folks who work with Java/Spring Boot, what level of complexity of projects would be the bare minimum to leave a good impression? Hi, I have been working in Infosys for past 3.5yrs. my starting salary wad 5lpa and now it's 8lpa. I feel I should be compensated more based on work that I put into my projects for which the most feasible option would be to switch. Hence, I need some advice related to job-switching from fellow software engineers who have already been able to do that. My skills are Java-spring boot , react , sql, github copilot, kubernetes, What other skills do I need to know to be able switch comfortably? Kindly suggest some websites where I should be applying from. In the coming days maybe after March would be good time to apply, don't you think? What scope do I have in product based companies? TIA
