What decision in life worked out well for you?
Life is hard, and plans don't always turn out the way they should. But when we look back over our lives, we realize that some decisions really changed the course of our lives for the better.

So, hear me out. Irrelevant rant below.
I was in class VIII and giving a competitive exam. I didn't manage my time well. It was an MCQ, lots of questions left, No negative marking.
So, I said let's draw a pattern for the remaining questions, and I did: ABCD... and repeat. It seemed so creative. I thought, wow, I am creative and smart. WRONG.
Stupid decision. If I had marked all As, I would have had, on average, a chance of getting 25% of questions right. Which I massively fucked up.
And, it was a qualification exam: So you qualify for the next round if you clear the cutoff. And did I? No. And how much did I miss the cutoff by? 1 mark. - 1 question out of 100.
After this, I learnt my lesson. Whatever happens, whatever my level of preparation, I try to game the system. Score more than what you have prepared for, what you deserve. And, it's worked out okay for me so far.

The only time it probably didn't work out was JEE Advanced. Man JEE tough!

Did you have other options you liked?
Yes but I ended up choosing maths in 11th instead of biology. Hence rest is the history

Left Bangalore, went back to hometown, went all in on my side gig in 2021 right before second wave.
Primary reason was to stay with family and care for my Nani, but startup also took off.
We were at less than 5L in total revenue, now crossed 1.4 Cr in 3 years.
It was hell managing hospital visits with work, especially when the second wave hit. Nani passed away a year after that. But I'm glad I got to spend time with her in her last days.
