What is LinkedIn suggesting

Linkedin premium is crazy expensive, especially for people who have just started out a while back. I am interested to see the people who are viewing my profile. Has anyone here tried out a mod that actually works so that I don't have to pay "as little as rs3300/month"?

Background, Tc stuff- Decade+ yoe Started with <10Lpa. Crossed >10Lpm. Life is fun and no amount of money is enough. I’ve seen it firsthand that the investments and luxuries grow at far bigger rate than your comp, Can’t complain though.

Recently I have joined a seemingly good company. Since a while, I have witnessed a surge of linkedin request and I have accepted all of them, I even referred everyone who asked, gave them tips on their resume also and responded properly to everyone's query. However, lately I have witnessed that many linkedin connections are sort of from less known companies or freshers. The thing is even I want to move ahead further and thus want to connect with people at a better position than me, but as recently many of my connections have been fresher or from lesser known companies thus my mutual connections and suggestion have been also like same. I have been thinking of removing some of my recent connections, basically those who just sent request and since then have not pinged related to anything referral etc. I am unable to decide if I am a ad person for doing so. Basically I would be myself doing what they have done, so I am feeling a bit guilty if I do so, but on the other hand I also think that I have not rejected anyone's request till now and even I future won't do so, I just don't want to fill my connection with people who are just randomly sending request to everyone. Please help me..

There is a guy in LinkedIn who has almost 50k followers, in his profile he has mentioned, he works in MICROSOFT I used to read his blogs , so I thought as we are in same company, I was curious to know in which team he is in. So u tried to search him & there was no profile. No person in this name at all His LinkedIn shows his profile is validated but am not sure about this cause, we can connect to any MICROSOFT FTE, but his name was not found. He is absolutely lying Hope you guys be aware of him !! PRATUL YADAV

Check his profile he have most of LinkedIn certification. Most of the certificates he completed in a month which is not possible. He is co founder and founder of many tech pages which also sounds funny. https://www.linkedin.com/in/iamarifalam

I'm not getting calls or invites for the job opportunity from LinkedIn. What is wrong with it or i have to take care of something ?

Got a mail from my manager to stop using LinkedIn anywhere at work. Even though we can use LinkedIn for purposes other than searching for different jobs, but these people are getting too insecure because people are leaving left right and center. What are your guys thoughts?

I have been actively (almost desperately) looking for a job switch for almost 6 months now. I have applied to probably 300+ companies. I have used LinkedIn, Instahyre, Naukri. Hardly got 10 call backs over all. So, do you guys think paying 8.3k for a yearly LinkedIn subscription would be worth it for me?( I have already used up the trial plan a year ago). Anybody noticed some improvement in recruiter calls after going premium?
