Whats the worst way someone has gaslit you?

Ladies, guys aren't looking for Coldplay tickets on dating apps . Women really need to stop asking this question, thinking they're going to get a good response. 

1. Liars will lie, can't check for truth 
2. Those who are honest will mostly be punished for honesty (unless the intentions actually match)

The point of dating is to meet people over time and figure them out. You can't really do that over text, regardless of gender. 

Ask better questions, like - do you see yourself getting married some day ? (if that's what you're looking for)

Or - what's your view on modern relationships? 

Learn subtlety, please. This approach isn't going to help you filter out men any better.

I grew up with 5 sisters (1 real and 4 cousin), I am aware about the pain and the tribulation that women go through and have always been supporting women in general.

I was shocked to see the opposite when I stepped into the real world. Most women whom I have met have only disposed me after using my resources. Be it a friend or even a prospective gf. Even my lady therapist offered the same solution indirectly by saying that things work differently for men.

I have always responded to their rants and have comforted them.  But when it was my chance to vent out, they were like YOU ARE A MAN YOU SHOULDNT BE BOTHERED BY MENTAL ISSUES, FOCUS ON YOUR WORK. 


I feel bottled up and sometimes end up breaking down. These are the people I have been knowing for ages. The other day I randomly started slapping myself for no reason in the washroom. I dont feel like I am being heard. I dont want such a life where I am being left alone for feeling the same things a woman would feel. 

I feel that the only thing I am good for is making money. Afterall, thats what men are supposed to be. This is a punishment for breaking my mould and I accept that.

I have been very empathetic so far. NEVER AGAIN. I love myself and only myfuckingself nowww.

There is this book called "Men are from jupiter Women are from venus" which clearly states that when women are in misery, make them feel heard. And when men are in misery, leave them alone. QUEEN , RATHER PLS K!LL US ALREADY. 

Why are kind men being subjected to the punishment which bad men (rapist, dowryfreaks, cheaters) deserve? Why do I see bad men getting so much attention and respect? Why are we still adulating Ranbir Kapoor's charachter for cheating on Rashmika just coz Tripti was attractive? 


Being emotional is such a curse for men !


Dear men, 
Please focus on your LPA and provide for your parents, future wife ,and kids, and when youre old enough, JUST ROT AND D!E. The moment you dont, you will be treated like hell.

I have had over 8-10 managers in my life in a career spanning over 8 years, 5 of them were female managers and unfortunately the experience with 4 of them were very bad. They’re either micro managers, or power hungry, want to be dominant over male juniors, misuse their power, cannot take any kind of resistance or refusals or disagreement from juniors.

I have always heard female managers are more empathetic but unfortunately I’ve faced the opposite. Just wondering, was it just bad luck or is it actually the case?

I tried to introspect in this and I found at least 4 points common across all these female managers:

1. They are all from Tier 2/3 Cities
2. They’ve studied in premier institutions IIT,IIMS,Wharton even one of them
3. They either have a younger or elder brother who got more love in the family
4. Their husband is at a higher senior level than them in professional life/career

Unpopular Opinion: Female Managers are Dominating

I have found females in corporate are much more opportunistic and shrewd than men. They think that is the only way to rise. Yet to encounter an empathetic female in jobs.

I know you dont get asked this question as most people assume that you have more options than men so its easier to make the switch.

But having options "may" not always make things easier. Every bond is different. 

And most mature women never go for temporary validations (rebounds, intoxications etc)

Would love to hear about the triggers that follow, and their respective coping mechanisms

I am currently software architect with 14yrs exp with 12 yrs in the same org, but got to work on different products,stacks every 2-4 yrs. But not being doing much coding recently, and it's all simple Python anyway with a sprinkling of C++. I have started hands on learning of JS, Django, Kotlin to get a feel of new languages and frameworks.  Don't want to put entire resume here, but those are the key ones.

I enjoy my architecture and specifications role, but I think I might be missing lots of opportunities to learn different tech/stacks. Most importantly I feel up for a change after years of avoid risks to person commitments which are much changed now.

Coming to the point, what worries me most is that most JD in different tech/roles expect some prior experience/expertise which I don't have. Requesting comments/guidance on how to make this transition to new role/tech/org. If anyone has done similar experience, request to share approach.

I am apprehensive even of talking to my contacts for a referral as I'd like to try out and get some confidence first. I did a lot of transitions so far, but I wasn't deciding those. It was either customer/boss or chance. I am confident of learning anything, but not about impressing interviewers. Maybe a few interviews with Amazon and similar LEET based ones might be the cause of my low self confidence. I abhor those kind of questions unrelated to work and as a principle never ask them as an interviewer.

Hi I’m an above average looking and average height guy. I’ve been looking out for a serious relationship for years now and it really sucks. I mean career wise, I’m doing great. I’ve a stable career with a good car and my own house. Something that women consider for serious relationships turning into a marriage. 

I’m also very religious, super good at heart, loyal, caring basically too good to be true. I’m so loyal that I stop looking at other women even at talking stage. Send flowers randomly etc etc. 

Now the problem is, apparently if you don’t play mind and manipulation games, or basically be toxic, you won’t get a good partner. 

Every woman out there says she’s looking for 90s love and nice guys who care for her etc etc. Then why are people like me single? Not only me i know many men who are good at heart being played by such women. Why are you lying girls?

Let me go- 
Coworker who used to lie a lot and spread rumours. Like they'll make up a story in their head, and start telling random things. Once she pinged everyone saying that I got engaged, and I suddenly started receiving texts in company groups 🤷🏾

What are some of the worst habits of your coworker?

Nothing major, but this bothers me a lot!

Don't understand why the HR would ignore me completely rather than give a firm Yes/No. Is ghosting a common practice among the likea of MP as well?
