What's the most unnecessarily complex finance Gyan you ever got? By whom?

My thesis has been that finance has been made complex deliberately and it isn't rocket science. Would love to hear some madeup complexities.

How many of you find financial jargons confusing. There are so many terms that we hear - debt, elss, liquid funds blah blah So many fin- influenzers telling something or the other on social media and with time to fill ITR nearing closer its all more bombardment. Do you think a need of much simpler explaination?

As I came across people from various backgrounds, I see a very motive driven purpose for the need of Financial Education in India. What do you guys think ? People aren't aware about basic terms like assets/liabilities, Why do we file taxes, Vicious circle of Debts, compounding and a lot more. And which is why the young population even after earning in lakhs end up spending it all😭 Thoughts ?

Why is there such a low penetration of credit cards in India ?? What problems do guys face in relation to credit cards and needs to change ??

Just some personal finance gyaan, I follow these regularly 1) Have 3-6 months of cautionary savings 2) Have up to 2x your monthly account in your bank 3) Have 3 accounts (Salary, Investment & Spend) 4) Have a Bifurcation of Equity, Debt , Real-estate & Gold by age and follow that 5) Have 2-3 credit cards (Set Breach limits) 6) Think long term 7) Reduce costs on all fronts - Saving account, demat, mutual funds , tax etc 8) Medical & Life insurance is a must 9) Don't inflate your lifestyle after you income gets upgraded .Wait observe and decide if it's worth it 10) Always invest in things that would give you less headache Have added my investment bifurcation in comments
