I believe if a person is short tempered and aggresive, in no way would a marriage make him calm. The only thing that will happen is that he will be aggressive towards his wife as well. I also find the whole idea of getting married before 30 flawed. Not sure what age has to do with it. If I haven't found someone compatible enough and I'm turning 30, then it means I should just settle for anyone that comes my way just because I'm turning 30? Doesn't seem right. If someone is unable to move on from his/her ex, the problem is this and needs to be worked on. Getting married just because one needs to move on from his/her ex doesn't make sense. What if ex comes back after marriage? The person would happily ruin his/her marriage because the ex came back and now they want to be with them.

Majority of the reasons I have seen are stupid either societal pressure or age factors. Untill you find your one shouldn't get married. What matters is how deeply person connects and understands you. Marriage= only evaluations either you are men or women..
