Stay strong, man! The job market is tough these days, but the reason you are not getting calls is because it's the festival season. Believe me, even in 2021, there's a chance that you will not receive calls between October to December. Be prepared; everything will be alright. 
  
 And remember, you are not alone in this. I know many people who lost their jobs and are still jobless. At least we have a job. Just wait and believe in God; everything is going to be alright.

I'll have to wait till December. I can't my current company is in a very bad situation.

Have been trying to switch for the past 6-7 months. Initially till June I was actually getting calls. After that in September I did not even get a single callback. No interviews for September and October. Everyone out there is just suffering. 

An acquaintance daughter called me and she was crying she could not land a Business Development role even for a mere salary of 20-25k p.m. i could not help. 

My resume is fine as I have had it  vetted on r/resumes. I have 2.3Yoe. Nothing is working. I just  wish to die.
I wanted to save money for my master's as my mother cannot afford to pay cause Father's dead. 

Nothing is working. When will all of this become at least bearable?

I've been in the job market for about 4 months now.
It's disheartening to go through the process and companies not valuing your time or the word they gave.
I've been in offer stages for 3 companies now and it's just frustrating for one reason or other things just don't end up working out. Either it's low balling the offers or just plain "internal misalignment". 

I've 7 years of 0-1 sales experience and it's getting tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

Not sure why I'm ranting here, maybe there are folks in the similar boat and would love to hear how your experience has been looking for a job in this climate

Is job market really that bad or do I lack the tech to get an interview at a decent product company?

I have almost 8 years exp and tech stack is java, rest API, kafka, weblogic etc.

I’m a digital marketing job where my manager was fired a week before. 

Now they have moved me under another person for reporting but he is so bossy and attitudes and mainly he never understands marketing. He is more of an operation guy. 

Life is getting toxic under him as for each and everything need to explain a lot and he gives me random other work which is not relevant to me and takes time.. just after my old manager went, I’m spending like 12-14 hours everyday.. too much off mental stress..

Also the founder believes him more than anyone in company. 

So I’m planning to resign immediately, I don’t have any job offer and so far just giving interview in 2 company’s since last week but I guess it will take more time to get a job as market scenario is not good.. 

I’m ok to take a hit for 1-2 month for now as resigning immediately and just focus on getting a better job. 

So need your thoughts and opinion on this..

I am a '21 graduate from a Tier 1 college (old IIT) and have had short stints as product manager at a couple of startups. About a year back, I decided to startup but after a few months, realized that startup idea wasn't worth pursuing. 

Researched around a few startup ideas and finally landed upon a good one in D2C space. But the problem is financing. I don't have much saving and friends / family network wouldn't be able to finance this. I really want to pursue this idea but finance is becoming a hindrance. 

So started looking for job opportunities about 3 months back. I have been exploring work opportunities in product / founder office / EIR roles or other generalist role. 

Job hunt process has been frustrating to say the least. Getting very few calls. In most cases, people are ghosting after couple of rounds of interview or assignment. In some cases, after getting through 2-3 rounds, I got to know that opening has been closed temporarily. Most HRs don't even have the decency to give feedback. 

I don't intend to work in job for long anyway. As soon as I have the job, I plan to start working on my business idea and quit as soon as I have enough financial leeway. 

How should I go about job hunt process? I have been trying to connect with folks on LinkedIn in whose company job openings are there. Apart from this, I have been connecting with founders from recently funded startups. Naukri / Instahyre and IIM Jobs are other portals I have been looking on. Anything I should do differently here? 

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions / experience.

 Never do the assignment for any company.This company will ghost you every time after the assignment or will offer lower pay / lower position. 
  
 Companies just try to get ideas via the assignment

It's 2 a.m., and I've just had a full-blown cry, yet I still feel an overwhelming heaviness in my chest. It feels like the weight could bury me alive.

I have five years of experience in Human Resources, but after being laid off earlier this year, I haven't been able to secure a new role. Initially, I was determined to get into the type of organization and role I wanted, but given the current state of the world, I readjusted my expectations and was ready to take whatever came my way just to stay afloat. After five months of applying and interviewing, I feel exhausted. I've run out of all my savings while juggling personal and family commitments, and I see no hope in the near future. I am scared, demotivated, sad, and have given up on my usual routine of waking up on time, exercising, eating well, doing skin care, and even talking to friends. It feels like the world around me is collapsing gradually. 

Am I alone in this, or is this happening to others as well?

I have been part of one company for 9 years. I feel like bored and mundane.  I am trying to switch jobs for past one and half year and unable to crack any interviews. Each interview slips because of some reason. Now my current company based on my performance asked me to find job somewhere else within in few months.. I am still unable to clear interviews.. Sometimes feel very downward because of this but deep inside I feel like I am more worth than this.. Market is also so uncertain now.. My salary is 32L.. I feel like I am stuck in my career. Any advice or recommendation?

Hi all, 
I am a recent BCA graduate , from tier 3 college. I was hoping that i would get a chance to work on amazing techstack when i joined Deloitte but unfortunately they onboarded me pretty late and i had already rejected offers for few organisations for the role of SDE, junior AI/ML associate and so on in the respective field. I did this because i was hoping that Big4 is a better place to learn and grow. When i joined in Feb 23 i was given training on Software Testing where i don’t have interest and i tried reaching higher ups but they told i might get a chance to work on tech i am interested in when i get projects. So i pursued this and got project on Testing as well, there also people said if you want to work on other areas there is no guarantee but you can help the developers as well and learn. Maybe you will get the chance to shift from QA but no guarantee. 
I am so frustrated with my current position, wherever i am applying they are not hiring me for the reason of having irrelevant experience and i can’t do internships as my family condition is not good and i have to constantly support them. I am stuck between quitting and taking a break due to financial problems but if i continue this how will i build relevant experience and switch to a different organisation. 

I request everyone to kindly help me getting a clarity, what should i do ? 
Can anyone help me get a different job role somewhere else? 
I am open to work in the field of Data and AI , Analytics as well.

My advice to folks looking for a job, focus on your strengths and do not get discouraged. It's brutal out there, but you need only one job. Stay focused.

Job Search in current market for a PM

I've been working for more than a year now at my current org and want to switch due to the poor support and management and no learning opportunities, that said I'm very much interested in FE dev(not just for short term, but I want to make it as a career in the long term as well) and have been learning(good ol React, html-css, js/ts) from the past 2 years and have built some projects and a portfolio.
Now comes the job market, straight up rejecting me mercilessly(I did get shortlisted in a few, but both ended up ghosting me afterwards), this has been going on for a few months now.
