Job Market

I am trying to switch since last 2 months using naukri, instahyre, linkedin and cutshort and have only gotten calls from WITCH companies and other small service companies. Is job market really that bad or do I lack the tech to get an interview at a decent product company? Does instahyre even work? Not a single call or view by recruiters I have almost 8 years exp and tech stack is java, rest API, kafka, weblogic etc.

I am seeing a lot of layoff related posts everywhere from news articles to LinkedIn.. Is the Job market really that bad now? Or just the media is projecting that way? If it's really bad, which department you think is the most affected? How's layoffs specifically in India? Or is it layoffs in US but more hiring in India due to cost cutting? Are layoffs in technology/engineering dept as in for developers or some other departments? Your thoughts please..

Me and my friends aren't even getting shortlisted for an interview.LinkedIn isn't working, direct referrals isn't working. After multiple rounds they just decide to go the other way. And this is happening with experienced talent. What the hell is happening!

I have close to 2 years of work exp at a boutique investment bank, I'm trying to make a switch and till date I haven't gotten a single call back, it's been few weeks now, just wanted to understand if this is how the process is or there's something wrong with the market rn?

I have applied to a lot of companies directly and through referrals. I have a top tier college and a FANG in my resume. I am currently working in a decent sized startup. I am not getting any callbacks from recruiters. Is it happening only with me?

Have been trying to switch for the past 6-7 months. Initially till June I was actually getting calls. After that in September I did not even get a single callback. No interviews for September and October. Everyone out there is just suffering. An acquaintance daughter called me and she was crying she could not land a Business Development role even for a mere salary of 20-25k p.m. i could not help. My resume is fine as I have had it vetted on r/resumes. I have 2.3Yoe. Nothing is working. I just wish to die. I wanted to save money for my master's as my mother cannot afford to pay cause Father's dead. Nothing is working. When will all of this become at least bearable?

I arranged employee referrals from Microsoft , Visa , Arcesium , Walmart but no response came not even rejection its almost 1 month. Is there any other trend prevailing in market? Or more precisely Am I approaching in the wrong way?

Hardly getting any calls for PM roles. Is the market really cold? Or AI rejections are taking over potential interview callbacks?? I see a 10/10 match with my profile for a JD but eventually get rejection mail even for screening/shortlisting, I suspect AI rejection is taking over. Appreciate Any thoughts and tips in such frustrating times.
