Anyone hiring for a yoe 1 years 6 months with a skillset - HTMl, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, SQL, Java With a very basic knowledge of spring-boot ?

I recently received an offer from a early stage startup. But they told that that pay in contractual basis. when asked about the reason they told that it helps the company and employees to save tax. How does it work? will it affect my future employment if I take this job? like if I join some other company will they accept that I was actually working fulltime. The role is fulltime, but only the money transaction will happen as contractual.

I've 5 years of experience in startups working around multiple programming languages and working all the way from Backend to Databases to DevOps. For the past 2 months I've applied to more than 200+ global companies or startups who hire remotely. I don't know what I am doing wrong because I got rejected from most of them. One pointer I've seen is most of them are hiring for more senior folks. Companies I've applied like - Ghost.org, fly.io, toggl, buffer.com etc. The competition for these organizations are furious I know that but what can I do to improve my chances? Because I've tried the referral way as well they do not give referral to people they do not know. Any suggestions?

Hi devs , I recently cleared turing tests and coding rounds and yesterday I had a non technical interview . The discussion went pretty good but the person who interviewed told that min yoe for turning dev is 3 years ...where as I had 2 years 4 months exp ...when the pay discussion came , he said he can only put $10 per hour as my yoe doesn't match with criteria of turing..which comes down to 1760$ per month. Currently my company pays me 14 lpa as base .Is it viable to consider the turing job ?

Hello All, I am working in a company but the salary is cutting through. I have more commitments and was looking for part time/freelancing opportunities. I am good at B2B client facing roles, and have worked in the support and services of SaaS, PaaS and IT Infra products. I am also building my acumen in technical writing, blogging, marketing, and also getting good at AI prompting. I can dedicate 20 to 30 hours per week as a part time worker.
