Context : I have been saving up money for over a year now and not actively invested it anywhere due to x reasons.

Q.1) Which apps offer the option of one time lumpsum + continuing the monthly SIP in a fund?

Finally hit 1 cr in savings and investments today after 7 years of work. I know it's not a large amount but it's the best I could do while supporting my brother's education and managing my family (dad is no more). Goal is to increase by .5-1 cr yearly now.

Portfolio split-
MFs- 65 lakh
Stocks- 28 lakh
FDs and savings in banks- 7.5 lakh
Forex- 3 lakh

Total- approx 1 cr

What I'm working towards- increasing investments in stocks to make it almost 50:50 between shares and stocks and also adding more gold and forex to the portfolio. No real estate in the next 2 year horizon

It's been close to a year since I am earning a salary and this is what I do:
1. Invest a little less than 30% straight into MFs. I have three ongoing SIPs- small cap, flexicap and a Large + Midcap fund. (Planning to increase the amount further into these and not start a new sip)

2. Max out 80C by putting the entire limit in PPF, this is on top of what is by default deposited into EPF.

3. A little (inconsistently) into direct stocks as and when I find or get to know about a decent trade opportunity.

4. An LIC ULIP plan that my father made me subscribe to 🙂 (hopefully will end in a couple more years)

Tips from experienced folks will be much appreciated.😄

For me it was the army and followed by my corporate job. I never felt like leaving the country. It’s always better to live like a first class citizen in a 3rd world country than a third class citizen in a first world country. 
  
 In addition to this, family is what defines us as Indians and that kept me hinged back home

So, I have started investing in MFs. Started from very low amt of 7k pm which is divided into 3 parts: Large Cap: 2.5k, Medium Cap: 2.5k and Small Cap: 2k. 

MF Invested: Icici bluechip direct growth, HDFC mid cap direct growth and Quant small cap direct growth

My financials: 
Fixed: 8L

Now my question is, in coming 6 months by what amount or % should I increase my monthly SIP.

Background:
I have around 7 years of experience. Right now doing WFH from tier-2 city and staying with family (Married so wife + my parents). My current job is good but politics and bad manager came into picture. I applied to few jobs and got an offer.

Current Situation:
The offer I got is WFO (hybrid) from Bangalore so I need to move. Increment in terms of cash is 12.5% (they dont want to push more). RSU is good and they vest in 1 year directly.
I estimate that house I require near my office (Kadybeesanahalli) will cost around 50-60k and rest budget of 50-60k. So I will save around 1-1.5L (50% will go to MF, stock etc)

Question:
Is this a good decision to move and settle there ?
New org is a reputable one and has stable job as of now

Note: I am not including my wifes salary as she still needs to search a job

Congratulations - you're off to a great start! Thats a tidy income to start off with. 
  
 My advise, cut out all the noise and random friendly advise from all and sundry and keep it really really simple till you hit a 50L investment corpus. 
  
 0. Buy a Term Insurance (vanilla, no riders) for 2 Cr. Annual Premium. Till 65 years of age.  
 0. Buy a Health Insurance cover for 10L.  Annual Premium. 
 0. If your parents aren't insured, buy a family floater cover for them now.  15L. Annual Premium.  This may become impossible as they age. 
 1. Start a monthly SIP in a single Nifty50 Index Fund (UTI : HDFC / ICICI / Nippon / doesn't matter).  From your data I'd say put in ~40K per month. 
 2. Start a PPF account and maximise annual investment - 1.5L pa.  
 3.  Invest all bonuses / increase in salary in the same Index Fund.   
  
 Watch the magic of compounding begin.  You'll see the impact of laying this foundation only post 20 yrs.  
  
 If your salary (and as a result your SIP) doesn't change, you should hit 50L in ~7 years.  Faster if you get good salary hikes and appraisals. 
  
 When you hit 50L, diversify into other asset classes (SGB + Flexicap MF + Real Estate for own use).  Do not create clutter by adding MFs and complicate life.  Keep investments simple as you scale: 
  
 30% - Index Fund 
 30% - Flexicap 
 20% - Gold (demat) 
 20% - Debt (EPF/PPF) 
  
 Rebalance asset allocation annually. 
  
 Never invest or choose instruments for tax planning. Tax optimisation leads to suboptimal instrument choices with your money (Insurance / Debt / etc).
