Why don't other MBA schools pay as good? One of the reason

A lot opportunities are restricted only for Tier 1 MBA colleges, those below don't even get a chance to compete
It's the network and exclusivity effect. It's not just restricted to Business roles but in engineering as well.
Many companies only go to certain campuses because the think initial filtering will be done by the fact that only people who are sharp and hardworking qualify entrance exams of such institutes. Even if there is a possibility of them finding great talent outside, they are ready to lose out on those rare cases.
Folks like you and me have to go the longer route of first joining a startup, then building our portfolios to show our mettle.

In that startup also should make some noise, otherwise its not the brand in your resume.

Well this is because of the exclusivity of credibility and signal. If opportunities get available for everyone, it won't remain aspirational anymore. Won't you agree?

But atleast let others compete

That's the point. If you allow everyone to compete, the exclusivity would lose value. And even corporations recognise that students coming to these colleges are highly competitive. So it is easier for them to narrow down the segment of potential recruits.

Can speak for Engg. Have 2 cousins, one from IITB and other from a good Engg college in Pune. The IITB one has labs, projects, 6mo Tech projects, collaboration with industry to build for satellite, biodiesel plant, Mood Indigo, Techfest, etc. Within 2mo of his admission in IITB, 90% of his batch (all dept) participated in robotics competition of building a remote controlled racing car for race (in 2013)
The Pune Univ Engg cousin was doing Engg drawing assignments on A2 paper where he had to redraw the design 2 more times as homework in his 4th year (in 2019).
No reflection on them, but definitely pedagogy and Univ infrastructure matters.
