Should I give CAT?
I am a fresher working in tech startup with 25 lpa CTC, should I give CAT this year or wait for some time I am very much confused with some hesitations!

Life after MBA
I need some advice.
- I am a fresher and am considering giving the CAT exam this year.
- Currently working as a data science intern and frankly, not enjoying it a bit. I dread debugging. I also feel everyday that AI can easily do 75% of my work.
- I want some business side roles, thinking I won't have to stare at a screen all day, fixing bugs.
What roles can I expect after doing a MBA, is it worth the extra 2 years and the money, and if you are someone who can relate to my situation, what are some of the things you enjoy about your work and some things which you absolutely hate.
I might have completely wrong expectations, so please feel free to correct me.

On a very high level, can mention few points to you : -Be very clear why you want to pursue MBA so that you can utilise your 2 years in a much better way. Most of the people you will meet in your college be it any college wont have any idea why they came there..
- MBA can open business side roles for you. You can move to IT consulting side of roles as well. -Try to convert one of the Top-30 colleges for better opportunities at the start of your career. -Be realistic, whichever college you finalise, read last 3-4 years of placement reports for more clarity and whatever CTC is written in these reports just reduce 20% for better understanding of placement figures.

- After working for 2-3 months, I have realised coding is not my cup of tea. Maybe that can change in the coming few months
- The logical next step after doing a BTech is an MBA, but the thing which is holding me back is the 40-50 lakh fees + 2 more years.
- Heard that FMS charges 50k/year for their regular MBA and have an avg CTC of 30LPA. Are there more colleges like these. Are they worth considering given that they don't have the same brand value as an IIM.

Not sure if there’s any other college that provide ROI advantage similar to the FMS. Fees would be around 20-30L including Hostel. Don’t think about MBA for just your first paycheck, idea is to pursue MBA, try to find domain that interests you.
There’s a saying that MBA will provide return only after 4-5years of work-ex when you will attain some amount of expertise in a domain, thats when you will be able to look for more options for future growth.
