It can only reduce if everyone starts highlighting outside that how difficult life is in bengaluru with water crisis and point out specific apartment water issues plausibly in tech neighbourhoods like Whitefield sarjapur. Put it as whatsapp updates linkedin updates and insta updates. GV too. Let everyone in India know bengaluru suffers from traffic water problems. The ones who are already here if you want prices to come down and live peacefully always highlight bengaluru is not great place to settle

Rents are high because builders sold flats at very high rate. Unless home loan EMI goes down, rents wonât go down.

Lol. It only went up. A few owners are now asking for hefty water bills.
I wouldn't be surprised if landlords collect water tax as part of rent going forward. But I'm pretty sure it won't go down. Even during Covid the rent and deposit were the same and expensive.
