Woah, that is a big raise (after a long time, feels like)
Anybody here who has studied at MU or knows someone who has? Wonder how the experience is.

They charge a decent amount for the courses. They could have just scaled up like a regular b school. By bringing in investors who would want big returns this will just devolve into scammy sales pitches to con students like in edtech

Not just regular investors, "influencer" investors who also teach, tch

Saw the founders interview. You create a YouTube channel, and a drop shipping ecommerce store as a part of your live projects. Your grades for those projects are determiend by engagement on the channel and if the store generated any revenue and how much. Which seems like good ideas but only time will tell how it fares.

Feels like an influencers course

No no, it's basically a new B School Personally feel the demand is definitely there. After ISB, there's not been many private schools of good quality created. But more and more folks do want to do MBAs.
Becoming ISB is a very tough task, but even if they do half as well, it could be good value

Stay away. It's run by Lovely Professional University guy.
Interesting to see how it goes. India does require more quality institutes, while there is an ISB blueprint and a certain whitespace to play in, but can't be done in a VC funded blitzscale growth at all costs manner. Institute building is a decade long process at least, growing pains and all
But yeah, I remember the last time some private B-school's bespectacled founder claimed it to be better than your IIM'S. Didn't end well.

The parents of MU's founder run the biggest scam college in the country- Lovely Professional University. The kind of shit they pull off to get admissions to their college will put Arindam Chaudhary to shame but the political and money clout saves them from any scrutiny whatsoever. His father just turned into Rajya Sabha MP through AAP's ticket.
So the chances of this MU not turning into a scam or not already being a scam, I would say, is zilch.

Its million not billion saw other startups who raised billion with their dumb shit ideas endedup just becoming loan burning machine. By no means i am saying anything bad about this one but never trust startups until they are like zerodha and if they are like zerodha u wont be seeing this kind of news for them .

Interacted with few students. Pretty ordinary intellect as compared to top IIMs & top B-schools. Intake student quality not even similar to tier-3 b schools
