Working from office is really bad for me

I am working remotely at a SaaS company for 4+ years now. I started working since my final year of engineering. I joined here as a software engineering intern when the product was really new and booming. I have gotten bored of my work now, especially since I have been working from home all the time. I have very little social life. And I am getting fixed salary of about $1400 each month. I am thinking of switching to any Indian startup because I am not happy with my job being so monotonous and less pay at this level of experience. What should be the approach to crack the interviews? I have done DSA practice during my college days, but didn't crack any interviews with it. I am a full stack web developer but it doesn't excite me anymore and I want to stick to backend roles. And is it possible to crack an interview with for 30-40 LPA at this stage? Or do I have to climb up a salary ladder for a couple of years?

I am SDE backend with 6 yoe (Java, spring boot, python, flask) currently working with org in Pune with annual package of 32 LPA I want to switch to higher package but couldn't find many options in Pune or remote India already applied to many companies on linkdin but no luck from past few months also work in current org isn't much exciting. I see many threads about jobs here but mostly are in Bangalore and Hyderabad not sure I am the only one or anybody else feeling this issue.

I'm working in a startup which is peak of micro management and very disrespectful and traumatizing experience for me. I'm losing my inner will to live sometimes because of the people. They don't even spare me on weekends, my Lead called me on weekends to just shout and abuse me at 11pm sunday. I've knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS. I've been working on Dashboards and developing Web apps. I've tried applying at mamy places but no luck on my side.

I am a middle class guy working as a senior engineer in one of the product companies. I belong from the north-east, and I am the only child in my family. Since covid, I was working in a wfh setup. Recently, my company has ended work from home for everyone, and I am supposed to move to Bangalore very soon or quit. I am an active user on all social media groups on Reddit, Fb, etc. For the past couple of months after seeing so much of negative news about Bangalore, Especially the high population, skyrocketing rents, the auto unions, corruption, cut-throat competition, discriminative news, traffic issues, etc. It makes me nervous to be honest. My wfh here was pretty chill, and I had a very limited social circle here, but was satisfied since I could spend most time with my mom and dad. Im very afraid now about what should I do next, shall I quit the job and search for wfh, or shall I make my move. I don’t have any acquaintances there, no friends, no idea about what I’ll be doing next, how to start house hunting, or job hunting. At this point I am miserable and overwhelmed to think about all of this. Anyone who has gone through all of these, If you can share your 2cents, experiences or thoughts, about how you dealt this phase. It will be really helpful for me at this point in my journey. Hi guys, I'm thinking of starting interview prep but not able to get motivation for doing so. My current company has slowly started becoming toxic and the pay disparity among the employees of same level is huge. Although the pay thing was not a major issue few months back, the toxicity has started affecting me. Now coming back to the point, being in bangalore, doing daily WFO, I'm not able to find time during weekdays and on weekends either I'm exhausted or occupied with some household work. Can you guys please drop in your tips on how guys pull off preparing while working? PS: I'm currently working as an SDE 2 and looking for senior SDE 2 roles.

Folks, This is my first post. I wanted your input on switching my completely in-office job (mandatory 5 days in office with zero scope for WFH unless for emergencies). I’m looking for a remote-first company and willing to switch for 35-40% hike from my current CTC. I’m holding another job offer currently (30%hike) - during the initial screening they offered me Hybrid but after interviews they stated it’s mandatory WFO. Can anyone advise how the markets are looking and what expectations I should hold on to while on the job hunt? Any referrals in a remote-first organisation would be much appreciated. I am working as SDE 1 in a good Indian startup. It's getting toxic day by day. Late night workings like 3AM and working on weekends is normalised like anything. Since I am new to IT ( no sort of politics never) and have almost 2.5 Years of experience, I am facing issues in getting credits. Last appraisal cycle in January, I was nominated for promotion but wasn't given to me, reason: you have not worked with architect and he was making decisions. In that case, architect should have been distributed tasks to us. one SDE3 is leading one of the projects ( not a big one ) and manager/architect is not much interested and never join any standup or retro, I have contributed immensely to that. Now since it is completely driven by sde 3 , he takes updates from us and show his work infront of seniors and director + announces like his work and seldom we get thank you in threads. Like if you did one function or wrote complete flow, for both thank you. Because of all these reasons, my work is not getting recognised. There is no one in team to help in this. Whenever a manager or Architect show cases some features or release, it's pretty evident that his team has done it but when a sde 3 does it, it is not the same. It conveys the message all or 90% work is done by him. I would like to take some suggestions from my seniors and fellow mates here. Hierarchy - sde 1-2-3-4-EM I can't leave or switch right now due to some critical persona reasons.

I have 3 years of experience in Angular along with web API and 1 year in React. I hate my current project and also the company. No challenge, no good work and ofc horribly low pay. If anyone has any leads in Bangalore or would like to refer pls help out !

Hi folks, I have been working at my company since one year, the workplace has become too toxic due to my manager there is too much micromanagement and the pressure has gotten to me, I have tried changing teams but all in vain. Thave tried applying to open position at various companies but not receiving calls. Please suggest companies that are still hiring for SDE-1 position for 1 YOE.
