How realistic is it to get 36 LPA base
Yoe: 2.5 Tech stack: React Native, React JS Current: 25 base Will Indian startups be willing to hire for this much base in current market? If yes, will the work life balance be absolute shit? I’m currently working at a startup, want to switch Please help a fellow SWE. Thanks 🙏
Not realistic unless you are exceptionally skilled and have projects to show for.

Thanks for the reply. I’m fed up with office politics and lack of talented people to learn from in the team. Looks like smart move will get to stay put? Build portfolio and prep for the right moment? Probably get opportunity in some remote startup or FAANG?

It was realistic in 2021. But even your current CTC may be considered overpaid once the funding runs out. Make sure the company is well funded before any switch. Market is sensitive for Heavy packages

Faang or you can start contributing to open source by targeting a particular company.
Even my situation is far worse.I have 4 yoe.2 years in Accenture.Out of it 2 years in a mid level startup as Machine learning engineer.I make 10.2 LPA.Even I am planning to switch a asap. But a lot of work needs to be done.

Contributing to open source can be a long term strategy as there’s no guarantee you’ll get offer
