Need help !! Toxicity at workplace

I am working as SDE 1 in a good Indian startup. It's getting toxic day by day. Late night workings like 3AM and working on weekends is normalised like anything. Since I am new to IT ( no sort of politics never) and have almost 2.5 Years of experience, I am facing issues in getting credits. Last appraisal cycle in January, I was nominated for promotion but wasn't given to me, reason: you have not worked with architect and he was making decisions. In that case, architect should have been distributed tasks to us. one SDE3 is leading one of the projects ( not a big one ) and manager/architect is not much interested and never join any standup or retro, I have contributed immensely to that. Now since it is completely driven by sde 3 , he takes updates from us and show his work infront of seniors and director + announces like his work and seldom we get thank you in threads. Like if you did one function or wrote complete flow, for both thank you. Because of all these reasons, my work is not getting recognised. There is no one in team to help in this. Whenever a manager or Architect show cases some features or release, it's pretty evident that his team has done it but when a sde 3 does it, it is not the same. It conveys the message all or 90% work is done by him. I would like to take some suggestions from my seniors and fellow mates here. Hierarchy - sde 1-2-3-4-EM I can't leave or switch right now due to some critical persona reasons.

Struggling with Credit Thief Daily😒

I have an onshore counterpart, one level above me. We two are setting up the project and conducting workshops. The problems I have are: 1. I work in the B shift from 2 PM to 11 PM since the client is in PST. But i login usually at 10-11 2. My onshore counterpart works in EST but logs in very late. 3. Although I work in the B shift, I often extend until 1 AM because I am preparing all the PPTs and doing research. I have to explain everything I do daily for 2-3 hours. She schedules meetings during the PST afternoon to present that work. 4. It has been 2 months of the same routine. In every weekly stand-up, she gets appreciation as if she did the work and research, without giving me any credit. 5. I can escalate the issue, but no one will listen because she has been here for 12 years, whereas I joined a year ago. She has strong networking with the leadership, which I lack. 6. I can ask for release, but I like this project and have provided solutions for some challenging gaps. I feel very bad because I work for 16-18 hours per day. She could schedule the meeting in the PST morning, but she purposely schedules it in the PST afternoon and gets the credit for my work. PS: i saw her creating a transcript to read during the meeting Do people like this really exist? If you have personal commitments, why come to work? Don’t you have a conscience and feel guilty about stealing credit for others’ work? Nowadays, there are many posts related to stopping gender-based reservations. Is it because of situations like this?

Hi, please suggest on this suggestions may helpful. i have joined in a new project but due to, too much of politics in team i can't able to continue in the team, even Team Lead is not managing the work assignment things as per the project experience, i don't know what is happening in IT i am hearing this politics problem from many people. what is the solution for it? i like the coding so that's why i am not able to quit the job, but i am not able to servive because of these kind of team politics, even project change also i am not sure everywhere these kind of people are existing and because of them silent employees career is affecting. but i am feeling sad due to these people do i need to waste my 21 years study(how parents struggled)+ the early struggles of our life to enter into this IT field and all. If i tell the real problem to higher people, it simply create negetive impression on me, I have experienced this previously. I can't stay eve one day in this team because it is affecting my mental health to stay in this team and now days i a getting physical health issues as well so what to do, i am so depressed and crying everyday i am getting shivering to login each day, what is the best solution for this pls advice. I don't have energy to fight with them and to prove every single shit so even to bench also i am fine but i need smooth handling/transition. because if we spent all our life also we can't prove this fox nature of this unethical people. Don't know in Capgemini why they will not give value to employee opnion, they will just give priority to higher position people words only.
