Dark stores & Cloud kitchens need better regulations

Why do people act surprised when seeing this?. This is regular hotel industry. The only way to discipline them is by not eating outside.

Working on an idea of mine which hopefully sees light of the day someday soon in the shape of a cross platform mobile app.

I am very much interested to connect with someone specifically from Cred who has idea about how the rewards and cred coins work from a company's point of view. Also I would like to connect with someone who knows how the e-commerce works on the cred shopping platform.

So in total I want to understand the logic behind cred coins and the way it's calculated plus amalgamating it with an in app shopping portal where merchants list themselves.

Sofor my idea i would love to discuss, be guided by someone who is fascinated by gamification, exploration and startups. I personally have less idea behind the gamification, rewards and the e-commerce part so would love to get some insights or help from someone. If anyone would be willing to have an open discussion, we can discuss on some platform..

But i seriously need some help and guidance here.

Current State of Product Management on E-commerce

Can anyone tell me what is the criteria for converting an existing online store into ONDC integrated buyer app? Do we need to do extensive paperwork to get the approval (since it’s govt backed protocol)? And is it as simple as just integrating their APIs to pull catalogue & inventory levels, then push order data back into Ondc or do we need to run any integration layer/store all sorts of data for compliance? Any heads up from people familiar with the protocol is appreciated.

How to integrate with Ondc?

- Flipkart aims to have around 100 dark stores operational by the launch of Flipkart Minutes, currently accessible to select users in certain pincodes.
- The move is part of Flipkart’s strategy to compete with Zepto, Blinkit, and Swiggy Instamart this festive season, focusing on fast delivery for non-grocery segments.
- Dark stores are being tested with employees at Flipkart’s Bengaluru headquarters, with plans to stabilize and scale up the service in specific areas.
- Flipkart’s quick commerce push is driven by revenue potential, with top platforms like Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, and Blinkit expected to surpass $1 Bn in revenue for FY24.
- This development follows Flipkart’s expansion into digital payments and fintech products, highlighting its strategy to adapt to the evolving digital commerce landscape.

What even is going to be the differentiator? 
  
 Zepto kills it at speed. Blinkit kills it at speed and depth of catalogue. 
  
 Hard to imagine where Flipkart can stand. Especially given Q Commerce can work in only Tier 1 and 2 where these brands have a heavy footing.  
  
 Flipkart does not even have a brand presence anymore in top 5 cities!

If anyone is working in Zepto I would really like two know two things, one how you process the order packaging before hitting the checkout screen? I mean order can still be modified so how'd you manage that. And second I've heard the closest location from dark store algorithm is open source and if a user is away from vicinity of the dark store he/she would not be able to order so can anyone help me with that.
