A big new update to Grapevine
Hey Folks,
As Grapevine enters its second year of being live, we wanted to finish the major overhaul we were building towards over the last few months. We've rolled out some big updates today - please do update your app.
Here's some top changes:
- Communities: A whole new look to communities on Grapevine, along with new features such as community sort and live member counts (screenshot attached)
- UI: A new font, new like (upvote) button and new community icons across the app
- 100 Private Grapevines: We are proud/happy to share that there's now 100 private company grapevines where verified employees talk amongst each other. Join your company's Grapevine now.
- Grapes 2.0: A new definition for Grape rewards coming soon. Grapes 2.0 definition will include more value to users for creating 'chatty' posts and verifying yourselves
- Direct Messages: Multiple changes to improve the DM experience on Grapevine. You can also DM anyone from the Grapevine team (including MS) at any time without any Grape-constraints :)
- Gestures: You can now swipe between screens on Grapevine, you can also swipe left when a post is open to go back to home screen (on iOS)

Couldn't find the Indian IT community Cover page of Moving Abroad is 🔥
This looks good!
Not immedietely but in future, please take a look at Salaries section. There we dont have Cybersec section under software engineering. AI, Cloud and ML is there.
Plus could you add some roles as well? Right now under these tabs, only senior roles are available. Analyst and Engineering role is missing.

I liked the old icons for communities more 🥲
I dislike the design trend where everyone shifts towards minimalism and too much uniformity. It actually makes things harder to distinguish!!!
Okay will keep this feedback in mind. Can think of more saturated icons for future revisions
Hey guys, has anyone noticed Scrolling on the app is super sensitive, especially on the Salary page. Trying to scroll up sometimes unintentionally switches pages, and when I come back to the Salary page, the filters are gone. Even scrolling carefully leads to unexpected page changes. It's frustrating! Developers, please check the scroll and gestures for a smoother experience. 🙏
Will look into this!
In some organisations, people are not allowed to send or receive emails to/from outside domains.
