Opinion on scaler academy
Hi, I have been thinking of taking some paid and live courses to keep me consistent and accountable. Does anyone have experience with scaler academy courses ? Are they worth the price they are asking? Please recommend any other good paid courses you found for upskilling which have a component of live classes.

Please think twice before paying. I dreamt so much and paid for the course. But couldnt complete anything after the initial few weeks and lot of backlogs.
At one point i felt exhausted due to office work and scaler studies.
If you have a plan, can manage time and are ready for payment - you can go for it.
From my personal experience, i wont suggest

How much effort is required on a weekly basis and what is the quality of teaching and mentorship/guidance? Do they follow up regularly to make sure that you stay on track? Does buying it increase my chances for getting interviews?

All these courses need a lot of self motivation. But,as a working professionals we need someone to spoon feed so that we are hands on. So, please try institutes around Ameerpet Hyderabad (both online and offline) or youtubers started their own courses which are very elaborate.
Lastly, Scaler definitely makes your profile visible on the top companies as the mentors registered may influence your profile or refer the profile.

They are creating a lot of FOMO with paid content and ads. From someone claiming to drop out of IIT for Scaler to anything, just be careful.

No experience, but care should be taken before paying a huge amount.
These are my thoughts, I may be wrong,
- You can try some higher education in premier institutes.
- First try yourself how much you are interested in it.
It's not like once you pay some 3 lakhs, suddenly you get knowledge and opportunities tomorrow. Think twice, don't fall for the marketing of any edtech.
