Accenture Capability Network is a scam !!

I joined CN with some hope to do strategy work after working for long in the Tech Consulting space. But here the work is pathetic and doesn't even come close to the work I used to do earlier. On top of that so many teams by industry , functions and whatnot and such cut throat competition of staffing and credit. What is this madness. All the people who are long timers here have totally no skillset , I can't fathom how they have survived so long here .

What's your background? If you're into tech consulting, why are you expecting strategy assignments in the first place?

I am a MBA grad from a Tier 1 Bschool and landed in tech consulting due to my pre MBA experience. Initially I didn't liked it but later on started developing a liking towards it as it helped me grow a lot in my career and also today tech consulting work also needs a bit of strategy and client consulting skills. Switched to ACN as they were offering good comp on the pretext of strategy work. But after joining here i am getting staffed into pure tech delivery work. All they care about is chargeability and not the quality of work. I even see analysts are getting staffed into support projects for ATCi accounts.

Thanks for the context. ACN does its fair share of conventional strategy projects. You won't see that kind of work if you're into tech consulting - and frankly, I don't see anything off with that.

Accenture has a terrible culture. Pathetic people. They say they’re truly human and then everybody has to work for 12-16 hours, weekends included. I worked through my dad’s operation. They don’t care and they’re all hand in glove. You can complain to their ethics but nothing is done. It’s like soo many hitters are there and Accenture is a concentration camp.

Interesting. Can you elaborate a little more on the industry function you are attached to, feasibility of projects (what is sold is same as what the client needs) work life balance and pay compared to the industry. I have been chased by them for a while but I am quite comprehensive about going back to consulting space.

Don't join now , avoid them. Their consulting work is not like that of MBB or Deloitte even. Here you will be serving other Accenture account teams and not clients directly . If you are not in consulting then ACN is not the firm to move on to.
