Would you stay in company for few more months just to get more stocks?
As the question states, would you stay in the company for few more months, where you hate your managers and/or teammates and aren't enjoying working, just to get more stocks (ESOPs, RSUs etc)? Would you be doing the same if the market wasn't bad?
I left without any offers in the current market situation, the stress was not worth it. I could have waited for 2 more months and got the ESOPs, the choice is yours.
Depends on your current company stock performance and what you think will happen with stock value… after this analysis you need to compare it with the hike you are getting in your new opportunity and take decision accordingly. (Assumimg you can stay with your current manager for a few months without impacting your mental health. Else just leave the current org.). Atb
What if you don't have any offers at hand? Would you still prioritise leaving? Or is the incentive to stay (stocks) far greater than that?
