All jobs require 2yrs of work experience [RANT]

I have ~1yr of work experience. I am trying LinkedIn, Wellfound, Naukri, YC and everything else I come across.

But every position i see requires a minimum 2yrs of experience. Even for the junior roles. Even for the fresher roles. Recently I saw a jr front-end dev position with 7lpa package he that required 3yrs of work experience.

If luckily there's any job for <2yrs gang, it's underpaid, requires to work on weekends, need to be in blr / hyd immediately.

Not to mention that I'm hardly getting any responses back. I don't even get rejection emails these days.

I am just tired at this point. I don't know what do to. It feels like everything I have done so far is a waste.

~1 year of experience isnt a lot for a company to invest. They are generally categorised in recent graduates. Most of the companies go for recent graduates as you can choose, it takes 2-3 days for placements to get over and most of them comes as an intern, so you can evaluate them on their performance.

I'd say, dont lose hope. Be active on open source communities, do networking, work on yourself, be better at coding. It's easy to lose hope but only those achieve higher who works hard even when times are tough. Follow tech folks on twitter like arpit bhayani, ankush. There's plethora of knowledge out there
