I worked at Zeta 3 years ago. Not an SRE but I belong in different domain.
SREs are the most busiest team there. There is so much releases happening everyday, so you always see the infra team busy.
I'm not a fan of the work culture, but this was few years ago. It may have changed now.
The company has a very top-down approach. If the CTO or the top stakeholder says NO then you have to drop everything you've built for the past months. There is no discussion over it. I've seen PMs being afraid to get in a call with the CTO since their work might get disregarded without any explanation.
The HR tools to view payslips and submit tax proofs suck. It's the worst of them. They call themselves a fin-tech but their own payroll systems are bad. (May have changed now)
Their biggest parters are HDFC and Sodexo. Most revenue comes from here. But now they are diviersifying into US credit card industry.
Negotiate higher salary. They will give decent salary while joining but the hikes tend to be low.
I have seen a little micro management in some teams. Especially in HDFC teams. But this was 3 years ago. Other teams seem chill and are helpful.
This is actually fairly interesting. Zeta has the worst interface imo.
Thnku for ur response
Interview at zeta
