Anyone seen Mahindra s new cars ?
The design of BE 6E is really mind-blowing. It looks boxy but i think both the cars will look better in person. They're also claiming really good range for these cars.

I don’t trust ev tech enough
I also don't trust EV tech especially Indian EV tech.
Yes, me neither. I wouldn't consider buying an EV for the next 5 years at least. But it's good to see improvements.
Saw the videos, felt like sasta remake of cybertruck 😅
Why they have to put so much of piano black on exteriors, it will look all scratchy, dusty in India. Rangewise, I am happy to see Indian manufacturers are able to delivery something comparable to BYD. I still feel, hybrids are the way to capture Indian markets. Happy to be proved wrong!
I personally liked the 6E, but yes i can see the cybertruck in the other one. Took design from tesla and that logo from meta
India has time and again leap frogged technologies. Hybrids are decades old tech with limited benefits and lots of disadvantages. With India's huge crude dependence, the govt will ensure EVs succeed. Hybrids winning will mean we get thrown outdated products with no hopes of being a leader in the space.
They cooked with the cars but what is up with the awful naming scheme.
Right, also they ripped off the logo of meta
But mahindra giving Life time warranty for Battery that's the best offer
I like the exteriors and the features being offered in 18.5L, but I'm not in favour of the interiors:
The unnecessary separation of driver's cabin from passenger seat. I usually keep stuff like USB cable in the glove box for times when wireless charging is slower than usage for Android Auto and having to reach through this cabin is a nightmare.
The doors look too thick. Even though the exterior dimensions of the car are wide, because of thick doors, it is hard to have 3 people sitting in the back comfortably. For me who uses car to go on weekend getaway trips with family, not a great point.
Looks like it is harder to reach for the door handles when they open 90° and that can cause the door straps to worn out quickly.
Hi everyone,
Currently working in Mahindra and Mahindra, ask me anything.
Recently I was evaluating a secondary vehicle and observed that - Thar is increasingly becoming a middle class masculinity exhibit. More valid for people those who don’t have any other personality traits. Black Thar with tints is king of...
