How much of a hike can you expect when getting promoted from SDE1 to SDE2 internally
I know it changes between companies and teams but wanted to see everyone's personal experience
I am working as a SDE -1 for a startup for more than a year now, and I am confused what should be hike percentage after getting promoted to SDE - 2 that I should expect or should demand as a bare minimum?
PS. I had 6 working days for nearly a year working 10-12 hours a day.
It never depends upon how many hours you put. It depends upon your performance/impact and company’s financial growth(funding, churn, burn rate, runway, revenue).
