Are design agencies or marketing agencies any good to graphic designers?

I am a self taught graphic designer with two years of experience. In which I have worked in a well known startup as their lead graphic designer including some in house and agency roles. I would like to know about the salary to expect or quote while getting offers from agencies based in Mumbai or Bangalore!

Agencies or studios cannot afford to pay as well as bigger companies. The work can be interesting and more fulfilling but you have to make peace with not making as much money as you could in a corporate. At 2 YOE, I was earning 8.4L CTC 4-5 years back in a design studio in Bangalore. Mind you, this studio paid better that many others back then.
