From creating software to solving issues, a software engineer deals with a variety of responsibilities. As an Associate Software Engineer, you need to perform the following roles:

  • Integrate technology trends into solutions.

  • Depending on business requirements, you need to create, test and configure applications.

  • When you are working on a project (software), you need to study and monitor them on a daily basis. Keep a document of those studies.

  • You have to define and review use cases and software requirements.

  • If there’s a technology upgrade for an already existing software system, you need to add it properly.

  • You have to solve software issues.

  • If the products have reached customers and they are having trouble with anything, you have to reach out to those customers through emails, chat or phone.
