Salary
How come everyone on this app has very high salaries(almost 24LPA+). But when i search on job sites, I see hardly any company is offering 24 LPA+. How come people are getting these jobs? Is there any secret which I am not aware of ? š¤

Companies and roles that pay 24+ LPA aren't on job apps or sites. You find them through network and through your public display of proof of work.
Pretty sure secret is multiple switches, especially when market was too good. Even now freshers are getting good package in well paying companies. You just need to make it into good brand company once then itās smooth sailing later on afaik.

Feel most people on this app are surplus elites (ie people who are paid more for pedigree than actual contribution) they browse twitter and shitpost during work because they have nothing better to do. Recession will hit them first, those with high salaries will stagnate.
You can hope that everyone does well in their lives, it's not a zero sum game and it's not a problem to be a well-wisher.

Slow down morality police, I don't think I wished anyone anything.

Selection bias.
Median annual income of an Indian is 2 LPA.
Per capita income of Bangalore Urban (highest in the country) is 5 LPA.
A lot of factors go into each person's life experience, can't realistically compare.
On job sites the salary is average of all data, some of which can be old, also so donāt take inflation into account. For example Iets say One joined at 8lpa, added that in glassdoor , now after few years his salary is 30lpa, but on job site he had added only 8
Around 20K people are using this app. Now compare this number with the number of people working in IT in our country.
Those salary polls are useless IMO.
> Survey to find out how many people like filling up surveys
> Reach out to 200 people
> Half of them throw the survey in the bin
> Now 100 people fill the survey
> 80 people go for the option that they like to fill out surveys
> Result: 80% XYZ's like filling surveys
Find a gig in a company that makes a lot of money or burns a lot of money š
Thatās how youāll make more as you would be working on stuff that directly impacts the revenue in some way or the other.
Just ensure you donāt take up roles that grow linearly (like customer service, supply chain, etc)
