Fake Hands-on Experience in Resume?

I have 3.5 yoe as a Manual QA and some exposure to automation and CI/CD through self learning and courses. I can build small sized api/ui automation frameworks and containerise them. I want to join a company as an SDET role. Should I fake my experience of automation? Or be clear with it? As an SDET-1 what can be the package range these days I can expect for good startups that pays well for 3yoe and also get more exposure on this role to learn new things? If I fake the experience will it be challenging on duty or I will learn? To all the people specially SDETs please suggest your advice on these.

Hey everyone, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Have any of you successfully aced an interview solely through tutorials, YouTube, or side projects without hands-on work experience? I am a SDET exploring a transition to SDE role, internally tried within my company ,not happening due to various reasons, hence trying to switch over. In order to achieve that, I've worked on full-stack sidd projects, practiced DSA, and made a good "tailored" CV that gets me interview calls. But I am currently facing mixed experiences in interviews. I am able to answer a few but struggle with some questions and seek advice on how to improve. Any suggestions for this career switch are greatly appreciated! Thanks a ton

Hi peeps, I have started my career in testing. So far it was manually and one in blue moon, automation testing using selenium. However now i want to upskill my self, and create a portfolio for my resume. So which all projects idea i should do and technologies I should learn for switching? Open for other ideas as well PS : please refrain from suggesting generic automation testing projects like Facebook login page etc. I am looking for something which has a ‘wow’ factor.

I have 2 years of experience in Manual Testing. I took a break (personal reason) along with that I had joined scaler. Now, I can’t seem to solve DSA questions properly. Talking about languages like : Java, JS(vanilla, react, node) is fine. What do I do to get a job ASAP ???
