Is frontend no more in high demand? I see so many immediate joiners but very less job openings. Which tech stack now has more demand but less supply?

Are software engineers no longer in high demand? Today, while scrolling through LinkedIn, I noticed a lack of job postings for SDE-1 roles. However, there appears to be a demand for other positions, such as Frontend Engineers and Analysts. Is this the right time to consider shifting to fields like Frontend Engineering or Analyst roles? What are your thoughts on this?

I am a frontend engineer with 2+ yrs of experience and currently looking to switch and applying on various job portals. But rarely getting any response from recruiters (esp startups). Is the hiring scene really bad right now?

I can see folks looking down on Frontend Engineering, why is it so? Is there a pay gap between frontend and backend.

Got laid off by Zuora yesterday and I am not sure what to do. No performance issue. Recently received bonus. Company-wide layoffs in the company are just hell. Looking for Frontend Jobs, with almost 3 YOE in reactjs, redux, hooks, rest, git, and bootstrap. Current CTC - 15L, expected CTC around 20L. Can join immediately.

So I am working on frontend for past 1 year, and work has become monotonous and I always wanted to be in backend, my team only works in frontend. What should I do because I don’t want to be stuck in frontend forever, people around me are saying if I stay here for a year more, I will be stuck in frontend and it will be very hard for me to switch to backend. Please advise, Thank you!

Is the frontend market for react/react-native saturated? I am 9 year experienced and getting calls is very rare. I rate myself as a great engineer and have experience building large scale as well shipping mvps for startups. What has gone wrong?
