Hello everyone... I'm working in an early stage startup, things with my product team are really good but with the rest of the team like tech, marketing & sales it's really toxic...and I witness that toxicity regularly not directly but indirectly & from time to time I have to witness the same toxicity during stakeholder meeting plus the office vibe is also not that good kind of drains my energy Now when I tried to put down my papers my manager tried to give me a good raise currently I'm at 8 LPA with 1 year of experience & he is giving me a raise of 50% (12 LPA) Now I'm really confused about what to do...need suggestions

I just joined a company and it's been only 2 weeks. When I accepted the offer there was another interview in pipeline and some delay was going. The result came and now I am confused what to do. Startup (current company) TC : 27+2 (base+pf) New Offer from a big firm: 31.5+3.15+1.51+45kUSD(Base+target bonus+pf+stocks 4yrs) = 43.87LPA Annual CTC It's not easy as it seems. The startup (curr company) has great culture and tech stack. The product is exciting. It is part of a larger parent company. Whereas the big firm (new offer) works on a Monolith and work mostly uses Java. Codebase is 20yrs old according to Hiring manager. And one more thing - I hate Java. Why the difference has to be so big in TC 😭 I don't like to be confused. Have you ever been in such a situation? I want to relate my situation. YoE : 2

I have a strong passion in tech. I’m almost a nerd. The thing is, I never wanted to study the conventional indian way and therefore I don’t have a good academic record. 10th : 8.8 gpa 12th: 71 % Joined a civil course even though i loved tech, regretted and moved to another university after completing 2 years of civil. Completed graduation with a degree in ECE and an 8.1 GPA due to covid. My professional record is quite average with a 12.65 LPA offer as an SDE, 1 YOE. The thing is, I crave money. The current market situation and the opportunities available currently does not seem decent for me to switch and get a 20~30 LPA job. Therefore I am considering higher studies. I need some advice from people who have been there and done that. Share your opinion/suggestions, lets discuss!

I have 5 YOE in Android with product based companies. current compensation 18.5 fixed 2 variable 4 ESOPs. I just got an offer for 24 fixed, 1 Joining Bonus after 3 months. What do you guys think of it? I'm trying for more offers right now. what do you guys think of the offer, should I take up, should I reject? My expectations were atleast 27 fixed.

I’m a software engineer at a mid size company. I have 1y3mo of work ex. Appraisals are around the corner, and although the work is great, the pay not so much. I earn less than 10LPA. How much of a hike should I deserve in this market assuming I have done a good job.

I m Tier 1 MBA with 3.5 years of experience in Strategy and Marketing. Took a paycut on my 2022 CTC to join a great company in a great role in 2023 during all layoff scenes of early 2023. This year also I m expecting hardly 7 - 8% hike. It is frustrating 😞. Salary day is the saddest day for me. My current in hand is lesser than my 2nd year salary. I want to switch but just worried about too many switches on my resume.

Hey, I am earning 7 lakh per annum after 5 YOY. I have an offer letter of 11 lpa. I know I can be offered packages up to 14 lpa in a couple of weeks. I am underpaid in my current company. However, I don't want to make a switch right now. I am very sure about it. The job is pretty good. My manager is a kind and learned man, I am learning quite a lot. Plus the job is not hectic and it is allowing me moonlighting (secretly). I earn around 1 lakh per month through moonlighting. How should I request/urge/encourage my company to offer me a hike of 25% to 30%. The company will most likely offer me a hike of 10% to 15%. I will make a switch after 6 months (2 years of experience with this company). There is quite a lot of instability on my CV. My main idea is to be here till 2 years and increase my base here to 9 lpa. I am a good or maybe exceptional performer. My performance was rated 4.50/5 Please help! Problem statement: How to negotiate.

3 years post-MBA exp. Currently at INR 35+ LPA. Offer in impact consulting at INR 23 LPA. Should I take it? Joining in Jan'24. Reason for switch - can't tolerate my toxic manager anymore. Have already put down my papers. Line of thought: 1. Take it - Something is better than nothing. At least paisa aate rahega. 2. Wait - Once I go at a lower package, difficult to demand a hike on my current one. 3. Take it, don't mention it - Companies will negotiate hard to lowball me if they know I am not working (gets worse if the LWD of my current company and the time am applying have a huge gap). Money matters to me. But have been introspecting a lot. Will appreciate realistic input from the community.

So, I am 25 and working for a company based out of Noida (the category and business is not at all interesting) but they are profitable (handsomely) I am earning in the bracket of 30-36LPA currently. I have received an offer of a bracket between 50-55LPA from a bangalore based company which has just achieved profitability. (The category is exciting and bangalore being bangalore is exciting as well) IF SOMEONE CAN SHARE THEIR PERSEPCTIVE ON THIS? What should I do?
