On campus placement sucks (most of the time)

what are my chances of landing a job (considering i have gotten decent-ish projects on my resume) Have only done the below topics: 1) Arrays/Strings 2) Hashmaps 3) Linkedlists 4) Stacks / Queues 5) Recursion and other basic algorithms. (ps me noob, hence the number of question for grip and confidence)

A month ago, a well-known company visited one of my friend's universities for an on-campus placement drive. They set the eligibility criteria very high to filter out students. However, they conducted all 3-4 rounds online, and as tech students, we all know how easy it is to find ways to cheat in such situations. Consequently, some undeserving students got placed. Believe me, they are students who don't even know basic fundamentals and programming syntax properly.

Recently set out to hire interns and had a really strange experience Went through about 170 CVs. Most were shabbily formatted - which is okay, I understand most people aren’t that serious in college. But then after shortlisting and setting up interviews: - Multiple kids just did not show up for the interview. They did not even write a mail excusing themselves. Or reply to any mail from me about them missing the call. - Some of them literally turned up for the call on their phone. They’re mostly well to do, and definitely have laptops. But just casual. - This reduced my selection pool to literally 8-9 interns from 180. Of these too, generally saw most of them had too much overconfidence and arrogance about them. Barely went into the depth of the answers, and would over-portray their contribution in past projects/internships, without being able to explain what they really did I am genuinely shocked and taken aback. These were all Tier 1 college kids, and I just did not expect it to be so bad. A shock for me, and a future shock for many of these kids when they get into the workforce!

I am not looking for job but was I curious that how much can I get an offer of in CTC for a SDE role at a startup with this resume. I have just graduated but I have been building apps from last 3.5 years. I don't understand why companies here can't pay more than 30K per month for interns. I pitched for somewhere between 40K-45K so they can't seem to consider giving it. I have a good profile for that work too.

Gave 4 long rounds for Flipkart sde 2 position. Did a decent job in all rounds (according to me). Now I am getting ghosted. HRs are not picking my calls from the last 6 or 7 days. Also saw a leetcode post today, the person had the same 1st round as mine so I think he got selected. Feeling very sad because this is the 3rd company that has ghosted me after taking all the rounds. HRs don't even have the basic work ethic to say yes/no on a 30 seconds call. I am from a tier 1 college and our placements season is going on, this year the market is very bad, we have very less companies than the previous year and the pay is low as well. From Dec 1, our interview will start but till now I have got no interview shortlist. But I have got an off-campus offer for 13LPA in Greater Noida, I wanted to ask if 13LPA is good enough for living in Greater Noida. The recruiter asked me how much I expected I panicked and said 13LPA, actually I wish more than I said, I mean if they give 13LPA as base rather than CTC then it is more than enough for me. Should i take the offer or negotiate or do what? If negotiated, then how can the company agree to 13LPA base? TL;DR: should I accept a 13LPA offer or negotiate it, for a dev role in Greater Noida. I am fresher sitting for my campus placements. please help
