My chances?
what are my chances of landing a job (considering i have gotten decent-ish projects on my resume) Have only done the below topics: 1) Arrays/Strings 2) Hashmaps 3) Linkedlists 4) Stacks / Queues 5) Recursion and other basic algorithms. (ps me noob, hence the number of question for grip and confidence)
You can solve all the problems on LC and still fail the interview.
Good communication and getting the interviewer to help you solve the problem would be better 💁🏻♂️

@Dhoni fair but like on a general level. will these topics suffice for entry level. and considering the communication skills, i have given few mocks, and have gotten fairly positive response about it. thanks for the input thala sir
Getting a chance to interview, projects and how you communicate are other major factors. DSA is an entry ticket and you'll probably be fine with that round. Referrals help with the first part

yes been applying rigorously, applied to over 130 places as of now, 0 interviews given. But have been applying directly on career sites and they are very well renowned organizations. Maybe i need to start asking for referrals. Thanks for input:))
Oh good luck. Try asking referrals from your college alumni; more chance of conversion

is it, how to fill the void of other 75. trees, graphs?
At the samne number of problems I got an internship at Unicorn Start-up and FTE at an MnC so ig understanding matters a lot compared to the number of problems solved

My friends have around 500+ LC questions with internships as well yet not able to get a decent placement.

@corporate_pawn is that because of job market or they got lucky during the intern period?

That just means getting a job depends on multiple factors. Even if you really want to see your chances share your resume instead of LC questions because that's what the interviewer will see.

50/50. If u get the problem you’ve seen before, you’ll ace it. If u understood the pattern of all problem types then chances increase

Yea but dont topics like trees, graphs, dp have trivial weightage. I'm tensed that i might be asked from them and I'll be blank. (im preparing on the go)
Weightage depends on company afaik. Some focus more on dp than graph. Best to refer leetcode discussion

Solving doesn’t matter, the approach matters. I asked many interviews directly about these and they said they dgaf about the final answer. They just want the approach you take, even if you write pseudo code at last when you forget some syntax you just tell them honestly and they will accept them. Unless you actually have some tech skills, this would not even matter
