Devops questions for SDE roles

I got hired at a startup for Backend engineer Intern but I switched to DevOps as an Intern there Now I don’t find the profile that Interesting maybe because DevOps is paid less money to be honest I feel like I should switch back to backend but it’s now 1 year from there today I am a bit confused what should I do ? If anyone has faced similar thing can you please guide me !

So i have been working for 4 years now (data engineer and scientist) and havent been enjoying much. Thinking of finally grinding and getting into better company. PLEASE suggest resources for DSA grind which are currently trending and most optimised.

Been looking to switch but on one opening of devops/sre/cloud engineer role there are more than 1000 applicants. So according to all the seasoned DevOps/SRE/Cloud engineers out there, what would you suggest to stay unique in this field? Apart from constant learning obviously.

Any idea what's happening with DevOps demand? A few months back, in every job description, all companies wanted at least two hands-on experiences with DevOps technologies like Transform, Kubernetes, Ansible, GitHub, etc. But now, suddenly, it has stopped. Any suggestions why?

Hi I’m currently working support role with 2 years experience but now I have started to transition my carrier into devops role so as of now currently my devops learning’s are going on but I’m not sure how where will get this job role cuz of I’m lacking so information like how are expecting an employee to be to entry devops roles like what are areas I need to be strong where and does mandatory any certifications I required for this role. I have about 3 years of experience in DevOps. I want to know how easy it is to switch to a dev role? My main concern being the culture of devops work and the pay gap. Devops roles don't pay as much. Any advices? TIA
