Mumbai weekend getaway is a joke
Mumbai’s most famous weekend getaway is Lonavala. It’s December 15 and the temperature there is 30 degree Celsius and the AQI is 200 🤮 what a sham
Preferably should be complete in a day or two
I think a trip to alibaug would be good ..it's short ...plus the beaches are fairly decent
Apart from beaches, what all can be done there?
Igatpuri, Nashik for its Misal Paav, Murud-Janjira sea fort, Nagaon beach for water sports, many forts around Pune, Matheran hill station for the toy train ride (check schedule first), Bhandardara. If you can spare an extra day, I believe Mahabaleshwar would be better than all the previous options as you have Paavna lake camping, strawberry farms, Kaas plateau which is full of orchids during September - October and many more things to do.
Vaitarna lake

Hi folks! I am planning a week long trip to Mumbai in July. Please suggest some places to visit.
Where should I go for night life/parties or clubbing?
Is it a wise decision to go to Lonavala/Mahabaleshwar/Marethan at this time?
