Beyond Labels 💭
I wanted to write something I'm proud of, something I truly believe in. But my chaotic mind won't let me. I asked myself why I struggle to be present. My brain answered, 'Because your brain doesn't want it.' Am I overthinker? We often label ourselves as overthinkers, introverts, extroverts, and so on. But are we really just those labels? We shouldn't confine ourselves to these labels for comfort. We are limitless.
Next time you want to talk to someone, just go for it. Don't make excuses like 'I'm an introvert and I don't like talking to strangers.' It's not really you speaking; it's just that part of you that prefers staying in its comfort zone. Take the leap. We only have one life. Remember to live it to the fullest.
Wrote something after a long time. Enjoy it.
The problem are not the labels, but how the person went through different situations/experiences for the defined labels.
Basef on the outcome and how the person is judged and treated by others. They label themselves and social media has made it worse.
Agree with you. Social media has influenced us in many ways that we can't even imagine. It's impact will stay for years to come.
For me, our present shouldn't be defined by our past. It will have an impact for sure but strong willpower can help in overcoming those challenges.
Wanting to write is a good sight
although your mind is showing its might
thoughts in you wanna have a fight
labelling oneself ain't a good trait
for labels always add to your weight
ignore the labels, ignore the fright
as that's the way to set things right
Awesome man❤️
I like the way you think.
Although, Just wanted to add, we(atleast I) don't proceed to talk to someone bcoz I think either low of me or fear rejection. I do agree YOLO, hence I do wanna be confident and fearless
💯
Great writing, but I disagree with your example, sorry. What is with people that they want to change introverts? 😅
If you don't like to read books, and someone says: don't stay in your comfort zone, take the leap etc, how stupid would it be? There are millions of things to do in the world and if someone doesn't like to talk to strangers, let them be.
Me wanting to do sky diving but afraid to do so, is a good example.
