Bjp

As most of the people here are working in corporates and most of them belong to the top 1% , i want to know the opinion of this segment of people about the modi government as problems faced by these people are totally different from the other population . Has the Modi government helped in growing businesses in any form ?

I'm not a big fan of any party, but BJP has done quite well in infrastructure development. Upcoming big expressways (delhi-mumbai , ganga, chennai - blr expressway, etc) , and dedicated freight corridors will no doubt will lead to lower logistics cost and fire up our GDP.
It could have been better had NaMo not blatantly favor one state (GJ) over others and tone down religious rhetoric

This rational comment❤️

The improvement in road infrastructure is reason enough to root for this gov. Because the connectivity infrastructure will compound the growth massively in the upcoming decades.
New expressways are at par with Europe Gadkari >>>>

Okay so answering about NaMo favoring GJ amongst all states, I as a Gujarati have seen 20 years of growth and development here. I won’t be able to cover all aspects but the thing being what you see NaMo doing everywhere in India he was doing that in Gujarat for the past 12 years before he came in as a PM. You can see things in UP, Chandigarh changing after BJP rose to power. It will take a few years there too but he has made sure the people in power are the ones who get the work done. Meanwhile some states I have seen them changing governments every 5 years just due to some schemes which is gonna cost them and the country years. Also who stopped other CMs to not work and build International Conferences like the one just happened today. They could have also done that, Modi started it way back and they could have learnt then. Recently there was this debate regarding central govt not giving shares of GST to state. Nirmala Sitharaman clearly stated that it was the fault on states end to not provide appropriate documents for each fiscal year ( West Bengal ). See the example of Noida Mathura infra buildup. Bangalore took 15-20 years and still the Metro is not completed but that was done by BJP in Ahmedabad Surat. Recently Kanpur Metro was built in record time. Also I have seen south to be ignorant of their problems people don’t speak up. If roads are bad it’s fine, if traffic is there it’s fine, and the ministers either any party have become ignorant of the issues of Bangalore.

Can say from experience of my cousin doing business.

They say cong is paise khake bhi kaam nahi karte te, BJP is like jitna kaam utna paise and work gets done.

BJP is also smart how they make the money through shady deals their family gets in other businesses.

There are a few genuine people at top who want to work and make progress but all bottom people even in BJP is not efficient. One thing is in BJP that new workers get a chance to grow not like cong where khandhan dictates all things

But bjp leaders speak a lot about removing corruption.. seems like that ain't working

Yes there is resistance in the bottom system.

If people keep voting they might improve the efficiency of bureaucracy

For me personally, not really. GST is unnecessarily complicated. Portals to access govt services are shitty af. Business registration takes longer than it needs to, and is random and prone to corruption.

No startup India loans or schemes that are applicable to me. Doesn't seem like they're applicable to most msmes just because their criteria can be weird sometimes, for ex business must be registered in the last 2-3 years.

Grants are mostly only available to those with the right contacts or in very specific industries like manufacturing.

One good thing I will say is that export of goods and services has no GST. Big benefit for global SaaS and businesses being built out of India for the world. If they don't fuck with it, will lead to good development at least for tech and manufacturing most likely.
