Bombay vs Bangalore

Bombay’s the financial capital of India and Bangalore’s the Silicon Valley of India. Which one would you prefer and why? Would your opinion change w.r.t age (eg. 20s are better in Mumbai vs 30s are better in Bangalore?

Any thoughts?

If u have a lot of money then Bombay. No other city comes close to Bombay in terms of openness. But it's very costly, cramped.

Bangalore only if you are a someone who respects every culture. Its relatively cheaper, far better weather but sharply intolerant to cultureless aholes who invade other lands destroy the local set up. And that will only increase. We are not gonna be another Mumbai where no one gives a rats fuck about Marathi anymore.

So depends on you, if you love being part of us locals in Bangalore, not as rich as you can carelessly live in Mumbai, but still earn okayish then Bangalore, else you deserve Delhi.

As someone having lived in both places, except tech jobs and weather (which is getting worse) everything else is better in Mumbai. Rents in Bangalore are catching up. Mumbai is a lot safer, better food (personal preference), no power cuts, way better infrastructure, better water (less hair-fall), metered autos, beaches, plenty of places to hang out, and in general a more open culture compared to Bangalore.
