Get to 10-12 LPM salary. invest heavily in niche equities, with some exposure to small and micro caps. Build a corpus of 50 cr. Then you can buy one because 10% of 50 cr = 5 cr per annum, which then makes it affordable. It's a different matter that you won't feel like buying it if you can achieve this. ;)

Don't go the index fund route. Become a good stock picker. You should Target to achieve 25% Irr for 15 years to be able to get to 50 cr corpus, assuming the amount invested is around 3 cr. So getting to 3 cr with your salary also becomes important.
